Despite the kids still having runny noses we decided to head to the Zoo for the morning. I was fortunate to grab one of the free passes from our library and it had to be used by Friday. Grandma was staying with us after a flight back from California so she came along too. Amelia is still not totally into the animals, she's more into seeing what other people have brought for snacks. It is always fun to look around though.

Sick, Sun and Snowless Days
The kids have been sick all weekend with fever, coughs, and runny noses. We seem to be through the worst of it, but they were still running fevers last night so it was decided that we would keep them home from daycare and I (Janelle) would stay home from work. Normally my rule is that if you are sick you stay inside, do not run errands, etc. However, today was just too nice a day to be inside all day!! It is going to be in the 60's today and after a winter of cold and snow, I was itching to get outside. The kids fevers are down... Amelia's is normal and Samuel's is running 99, so we decided to go for a stroller ride around the neighborhood. It was wonderful. I think it put us all in a better mood. Both kids are still irritable, mostly I think from being cooped up inside and from the runny noses that are still plaguing them.

So what's New?
Sorry it has been awhile since I posted. Nothing really exciting is going on, but then I sit down and reflect on the last several weeks and realize the days really do go by quickly and lots of little things happen everyday. Here is the latest from our world.
Samuel: Now is rolling around everywhere, sitting up for short periods of time, and sleeping better through the night. We had some rough crying it out nights! He continues to be a smiley happy boy that loves attention, big sister and every babyfood except peas.
Amelia: Continues to be obsessed with everything princess. She can spot everything princess and thinks it should be hers. Right now she has princess backpack, glasses, and books on her list of "most wanted" items. We watch parts of Little Mermaid almost everyday!!! She likes to identify people as prince or princess but of course when asked what her name is, her reply is "princess" She has become even more in love with "baby" or "brother" and likes to be by him for much of the day. She is talking a little bit more, and her and I have a lot of fun conversations together .
David and I : I usually don't include updates on us but we are enjoying seeing the kids grow and fall into a good routine. We are looking forward to our trip to Houston/Corpus Cristi and spend lots of time researching that. We are taking a financial class at our church and as a by product are trying to get our office more organized.
