Cabin Vacation

We headed out for our 3rd vacation of the summer... to our annual Wisconsin family trip to a cabin with the Vesta family.

We went in to Spooner, WI and took a 1 1/2hr train ride.

We even celebrated the kids birthday.... it was a great time and a fun, relaxing week. Thanks Mom and Dad for doing this again. Great memories.

ValleyFair

We took our 1st trip to Valleyfair this year. We were unable to go to our annual cabin till Sunday so we spent the day on Saturday enjoying the rides. Amelia and Samuel were really into it. We enjoyed a great day.

Our time at Valleyfair has changed a lot since we went in High school and college. We now spent more time in the kiddie area and only got to go on 1 rollercoaster!! It's fun to watch your kids have so much fun though.

Cousins!!

Camping Fun

We headed out last weekend for our 2nd annual Baird family camping trip. We were glad Minnesota had ended the budget shut down so we could go to William O'Brien State Park by Stillwater.

We got to go to a snake show and hold snake skins.

We enjoyed Bonfires, smores and Pies.

We even hiked a little bit along the St. Croix.
Mostly we stayed in the water as it was hot and humid.

We also had a first for the group of experience campers.... being evacuated from the campsite due to severe weather in the area. There is nothing like honking horns of the ranger to wake you up. I forget to take any pictures as we were seeking cover in the visitor center.
The kids and all had another great time of "roughing it."
