Blessed!!

Wow!  It's been awhile since I've written on this blog... I love looking at what others have written and realize I still have a few faithful that check this from time to time.  Our family has been busy with school, church activities, playdates, work, etc.  We are also about to embark on a big kitchen remodel.  After a year of soul searching and looking at houses, we decided to stay and remodel our kitchen, dining room, and entry way area.  We are very excited to be starting this project.  Much of our free time has been taken up with looking at granite, tile, faucets, light fixtures, plans, etc.  I can't imagine building a house!!  Through this season there is one word that keeps coming to mind... BLESSED!!!
We are so blessed... we have two healthy, thriving, active kids who give us much joy and love each day.  We have an extended family who is so supportive and helpful.  We are where we are today because of them... thanks Mom and Dad!!  We are blessed by the time we spend with you and how you help us.  We have wonderful jobs (close to our house) that provide for us, challenge us, and make us grow.  We have a great house... in a great location and we look forward to the improvement we will make on it over the years.  We are fortunate to be able to take some great trips... we are looking forward to a Disney vacation (yes, again!;)) and a Disney cruise with David's family.  We pray this will be a fun, relaxing time for all.  So as I reflect over the last several days of gifts that I've received, I'm feeling so blessed!!  Here are some pictures over the last weeks... times with family, Christmas gatherings, programs, etc.  Enjoy!

Preschool

Samuel was excited to start preschool.  He will be attending southwood 3 days a week. He was excited that on his 1st day he was in charge of snacks!

Amelia's 7th Birthday

Amelia celebrated her 7th birthday on Sat. Sept 7th with a friend party at the house.

Games in the backyard... it was a 90 degree day!!

Showering off the craft they made.

A fun time was had by all!

Family party

With the kids birthday's being 2 weeks apart, we do a combined family party that brings Grandparents, Aunt/Uncles and cousins together to celebrate.  This year it happened to fall on Amelia's actual birthday.
