Halloween Fun Part 1

Make sure to check out the next post too as we have been having lots of fun with this nice fall weather. This weekend we attended a Halloween party at Amelia's school. We had fun seeing friends and also our cousins.

Showing off our costumes before leaving the house...
A butterfly fairy princess and Spiderman

Lots of fun was had by all!

Fall Fun

The kids have been doing great at their swimming lessons. We switched Y's and we are loving Isaac and Zachary's pool. We love our teachers too. Both the kids are doing well.

A bit out of order... we also saw friends from school at the fire station open house.

Getting to be a firefighter!
Amelia now says it's what she wants to be instead of a ballerina or a princess. :)

More swimming.

We enjoyed a day at a local nature center with Amelia's school.

It was fun to take a walk through nature.

Later that week we went to our local fire station open house. We ran into old daycare friends.

Stages

It's hard to believe our kids are now 5 and 3!! Where have the years gone?
It is always a busy fall with birthdays 2 weeks apart, well child checks, the start of school, and other fall activities.

The kids are doing well. Amelia is in her second year of preschool (3 days a week). She continues to have once weekly speech, but is improving and should graduate from that this year. She is in swimming, ballet, and church activities. She is a very social butterfly and is always planning her next playdate.

Samuel is becoming quite the little man and reminds us often he is not a baby, but a big boy. He is doing well at potty training. He talks all the time, but is having some trouble with phonic sounds (possibly related to his respiratory issues early in life.) He is now in once weekly speech.
He is our busy, active boy yet when you work with him he is joyfully fun and entertaining.

We feel so blessed by our children and are so thankful for them.

Birthday party fun

After a busy end to summer and early fall, we finally had Amelia's friend party at
chuck E cheese.

I was so impressed with the party!! The staff is great, we had the place to ourselves (it was a Thurs.) and the kids all had a great time.

Amelia and her little friends. It is so much fun to see the sweet friendships she has formed with school and church friends.

A good time was had by all!!!
