TEXAS !!

We just returned from our vacation to Texas on Thursday night and I'm still trying to get everything settled again. I have learned I should have at least one day off before going back to work a weekend! Thankfully today (Sunday) I'm on call so feel I'm finally catching up. In a word our trip was excellent! I have many pictures of course and will do several more posts in the coming days (I hope). Thanks to all of you who prayed for us on our trip. You know how stressed I was about all the details and it couldn't have gone any better! I could feel your prayers. The kids did great adjusting to different things, foods, places, and everything. The plane rides were wonderful with no problems. Amelia loved the plane. Watching her look out the window and her eyes get big with excitement at every new thing brought me to tears as I all of the sudden saw this great adventure through her eyes. How fun! Thanks also to Chase and Joyce and their families who made this whole trip possible. We loved meeting your family and sharing in your special day with you. We look forward to hearing where the "mystery" destination was, and I promise to have a polka dot princess post soon.

After being in Houston for 5 days we headed to Corpus Christi to have some fun on the Beach. We toured the aquarium there and also saw the USS Lexington.
