It is so much fun watching our kids grow up and develop personalities of their own. They bring so much joy to our lives. David and I have been remarking lately to each other how much humor, amusement, and fun they bring to us. Now that we are moving out of the infant stage so many new things are open to us. One of the things we have been enjoying as of late is teaching them some of our favorite games from childhood.
Our basement is so much more fun now with the remodel (fireplace, heat, theater sound, etc) We spend a lot of time down here. You can also see in the foreground of this picture that I have been doing some scrapbooking.

You can see Samuel still gets a bit distracted from time to time. He's got a few more years to develop his "doctoring" skills before going into the OR.
