A little bit of everything!!

Sorry, it has been a long time since I blogged. Now with facebook, I find updates are faster on that and many people have seen these pictures. I know however that I have a few faithful blog readers (thanks mom and dad) and I didn't want to disappoint them. I have many times thought of creative posts, but then I just get lazy, or I want to be outside, or I just get lazy (can you see the theme lately!). So here goes... a highlight of our last couple of weeks. As always full of fun, adventure, and many good times with family and friends.

This was part of a mini-vaca we took to downtown Mlps (more later on that) ending up on Sat. night at MOA. Yes, we live 15 minutes from here, but our kids have never done rides. They loved them!!

We even got to meet Dora!!

Earlier in the day we had gone to the Transportation Museum in St. Paul. A really fun place filled with trains, buses, and cool things. The kids had a blast with the trains, and I enjoyed riding this old fashion bus through St. Paul as we heard a mini- history lesson. You learn so much about your state when you do the tourist things.

The highlight of our weekend was staying at the Depot hotel in downtown. They had a fun waterpark and arcade. A great time was had by all.

I amazed by trips like this and how old the kids seem and how well they do at places like this. It makes me look forward to trips planned this summer.

Relaxing a bit in our 2 room suite!

We got a zoo membership this year and have already enjoyed several times of going and meeting friends. I like that we can head out there for 1/2 day and see what we want and not feel rushed. Today we saw the zoo babies.

I had to sneak this in... for many that have been wondering about the area rug in the dining room, I finally found one. The floor did not turn out as well as I hoped, but I do not intend to go through the struggle of stripping it down, when i hope eventually to remodel the whole area. I think the area rug helps, and overall my purpose of wanting hardwood for the sliding door was accomplished.

We visited Rochester this last weekend for David's birthday. The kids again had a great time seeing everyone...including Bryan and Stacy who came over to celebrate.

Whew! There you have it, what we've been up to.
There of course is many more pictures ( and those not captured) of playdates, playing outside, ballet, etc. Hope you are enjoying Spring!
