San Francisco

David and I went away for 5 days to San Francisco. It was the first time we had ever flown away from the kids. I had been looking forward to this get away for months (it was partially to celebrate my birthday that occurred on 11-11-11). I had heard wonderful things about this city and we were excited to visit it for the first time. While it was nice to get away, we experienced some cool, windy, rainy, California weather. We had some partially nice days and tried to make the best of it. I think my views would have been different if the weather was warmer ( I did know it was cooler than other parts of CA), and my shins didn't hurt from walking the hills ( I obviously didn't do enough on the stair stepper before leaving!)
Here are some views of our trip. As always it's nice to get away and have some time to relax as a couple and for that I'm very grateful!!

Ghirardeli Square

We also saw Golden Gate Park, attended the Academy of Sciences Museum, China town, Coit Tower and rode lots of trolley's, cable cars and buses. We loved our place at the White Swan Inn!!
