Each summer we try to plan a family trip to a unique and fun place. I loved as a child going to different parts of the U.S. I'm so glad we have been able to do this with our kids. We have also gone to a few places I have never been! This year we decided to branch off after a family wedding near Chicago,. We headed 7hrs north east to Traverse City, Michigan on Lake Michigan. It is a beautiful town and we enjoyed 3 days taking in this area.

On Wed we traveled to Ludington, Michigan. My grandma was born and grew up here. I had never been here!! We stayed overnight and took the SS badger home on thurs. It was a quaint town. It was fun to imagine my Grandma coming to these beaches each day during the summer.
