That was then this is NOW!

It's done!
The contractors are done, the dumpster is gone, and we have completed painting and staining. We still have pictures to hang, organizing to do, and figuring out all the remotes but we can live in the space (or as Amelia says be down there without our shoes on as during construction they always had to wear shoes to look at the project.)

This is a view from the front and shows my new laundry room wall and door. It also shows the blue/brown combo. People have mixed reviews on it, but we do like it.

Where we came from
Now we look forward to a winter of sitting and playing downstairs with heat, coziness, a sound system, blue ray, and more space. True hibernation I think!!
