Samuel is now 18mo old.
We saw Dr. Sheri last week for a post-hospital visit and also his 18mo visit combined.
Here are his statistics:
Weight: 27lb (50-75%)
Height: 33 1/2 (75-90%) Tall like his daddy
Head: 19 1/2" (75-90%) Also really large as evidenced when trying to get shirts over his head.
Everything else checked out fine. He still had a bit of the broncholitis and some clear fluid behind one ear, but nothing we can't continue to ride out. We hopefully won't see the doctor again till 2. She was amazed by his climbing ability, motor skills, and vocabulary. She commented. "He looks like a busy boy. He is one that is going to need constant activity."
Don't we know that!!
Samuel's vocabulary seems to be growing daily too. He seems to be getting new words everyday and trying to say many more. Compared to Amelia at this stage, he is quite the talker. It must be different as he has big sister jabbering at him all day.. "Do you want to Sammal, huh?" It is cute to hear them interact and watch Amelia be such a little mommy sometimes. It warms my heart to hear him say mommy and dadda.
He is also is trying to follow big sister and go on the potty. He loves to sit on it and looks like he is going to go (he hasn't). When I ask him to pull down his pants, he pulls up his shirt. I guess we still have some more work to do on that. I'm nervous to potty train a boy... I have heard that it can be very messy and this control freak doesn't think I'm ready for that yet.
