This last weekend several special Tea parties were held. Our church(in honor of the 50th anniversary year) planned a women's tea. Over 15 tables of beautiful dishes were displayed (not eaten at!). Women could walk around and observe these beautifully decorated tables, and read the stories/history of the dishes. I did 2 tables... my wedding china and my Christmas dishes. My mom was able to be at the event. I had a lot of fun decorating the tables.
Amelia enjoyed looking at all the beautiful things.
She enjoyed yummy treats with some of her friends from church. It was such a lovely morning!
On Sunday, I held a tea party at our house for several of Amelia's friends. She had announced to me that Sat. April 6th was Molly (her American Girl doll's birthday). Since Sat. was a busy day, we decided to hold this important birthday :) on Sunday! It was a great chance to have the girls over to the house. I dug out another favorite set of china (my desert rose pattern) and used this for the
"doll tea party" The girls had so much fun being grown up!
Samuel also had a friend over and enjoyed the boys table (with train plates) for the snack.
Posing with their dolls... what a fun group!
What a fun weekend of tea parties!
