Busy June!

June was a wild and crazy month.  We had several fun road trips, vacations, camp, reunions, and lots of great memories.  We started the month with a celebration of David's parents 40th anniversary.  We rented this huge house near Spooner, WI.  It was an amazing, beautiful house with serene views of the lake, lots of space, tranquil gardens, and cool features.  We enjoyed a fun week of activities including boating, swimming, games, golf, fishing, great food, and conversations around the campfire.  It was fun to all be together.

We visited Kevin's parents one day at their cabin (about 30 minutes away).  Their lake was larger and allowed us to go boating, kayaking, and enjoy a great dinner.
Both kids liked tubing behind the boat.

We stayed in the separate bunkhouse... it had its own bathroom, sleeping loft, exercise room, and Foosball table.
I never get tired of this view.

We came home on Saturday and then on Sunday left to take Samuel to IPBC for his 1st camp experience.  He was so excited!!  It was only Sun-Tuesday
We know he will have a great week!!

The next weekend we were back in Fergus for the 20th reunion of our trip to Africa.  7/10 teammates were able to be together at Glendoulough State Park.  It was a fun afternoon of reminiscing, sharing pictures, poems, and songs.  What special memories of this time that forever changed my world view.

On Sunday, Amelia started camp at IPBC.  She is in a cabin with many Oakhill kids and a friend from Liberty.  It's going to be a great week!!  We are so glad that both kids could attend camp even if it meant 3 trips to Fergus this month!!

What a month of memories and that is only the 1st month of the summer!!!  Even though it was crazy... I only worked 4 days and was only home for about 10 days I would not change a bit of it.  I love the experiences, travel, and things we have been able to do.  It has been filled with special times with family and friends.
