Well, our little boy is growing up and we have decided to make the transition to a big boy bed. There was no particular reason for needing to do this :), we just decided it might be easier to have him sleeping in a bed, and the daycare lady would appreciate that as she has an infant starting in the fall. After a weekend trip we decided to do the conversion of the crib. We had never used the toddler bed for Amelia, so we didn't know how it would work. Someday we would like to get bunkbeds, but for now this works.
All ready to go
I'm in bed mommy... ready to sleep.
The top picture was taken a few minutes later, when I found him running towards the door.
After a couple times of putting him back in bed, he stayed there all night. We have now been at this a couple of weeks and he is sleeping/napping great. He may play for a bit, but always finds his way to the bed and sleeps his normal amount of time.
It's a little sad, as my baby is growing up.
