Samuel loves playing with his train table. He often can be seen carrying trains around the house. The above design though was created by our other engineer.... Daddy!
I often find David (and sometimes Samuel) working on a new track formation. This weekend I came home from work and David had made this track of ramps and elevations. He had to take a picture of his work, before it was destroyed. I sometimes wonder who has more fun with the table. :)
We have had lots more options for track/buildings since David made a trade through craig's list. Pokeman cards for track, bridges, and several buildings.
Again, I ask who is the kid in our home.
Lately, Samuel has had a hard time winding down at night. He was always our child who would lay down and go right to sleep. Now he can be up till well after 10pm. Often he is so quiet we do not hear him. He has also started to turn on his light, and sometimes falls asleep with it on. He is no longer always sleeping in his bed, and we find him in all sorts of new spots in the morning. Despite these odd sleeping habits (by the way he has also been waking up early) he does not seem to be any fussier during the day. It's a bit frustrating at times..... but he doesn't seem any worse for wear. It must be a phase he is going through. One night in particular we found him in his room at 10:30 like this. He had stacked several train pieces together to make a tower. When we opened the door, he looked so proud of his work, I had to take a picture
